As part of the global product strategy, the Siemens Gas Turbine Shanghai Engineering Hub (SEH) was established in 2009 with the following rationale:Local presence in the world's largest and fastest growing energy marketsRecently established local manufacturing sites and global supply management need engineering supportSkilled engineering resources - China has a huge capacity of human resources and an excellent educational systemCost advantage - China provides a cost advantage for both resource and innovation Currently, SEH is set-up under Corporate Technology (CT) in Siemens Limited China (SLC). As an integral part of the Gas Turbine global organization, the team will provide ~ 90 full-time engineering resources to Gas Turbine by 2012.
